The Sound of Fiction today announced the production of Penumbra Soundtrack: Special Edition. The album will include a selection of remastered music tracks from all three games, in addition to previously unreleased material. Series narrative designer, Tom Jubert, returns to provide an exclusive text and further insight into Penumbra's twisted tale. The album will be available Q3 2009.

AIKA is now available in iTunes also (USA and Europe only). Currently we are working on a special edition of Penumbra OST. More details will be revealed soon.

Paradox Interactive announced that the Penumbra Collection, the critically acclaimed and innovative horror trilogy, has released in both Europe and North America.

IGN ranked Penumbra: Black Plague number 4 in their list of 13 Scariest Games of This Generation. Penumbra: Black Plague also gained honourable mention in Gamasutra's Best of 2008: Top 5 PC Games list.

Paradox Interactive has announced Penumbra Collection which includes the critically acclaimed games Penumbra: Overture and Penumbra: Black Plague together with the puzzle oriented expansion Requiem. Penumbra Collection is planned for a release in Q1, 2009.

AIKA soundtrack is soon available. The final release date will be revealed shortly. While awaiting for the release, you can check the redesigned website with a new music player with excerpts of several tracks from the AIKA soundtrack.

Today The Sound of Fiction announced ‘AIKA’, an atmospheric orchestral soundtrack wrapped around a philosophically inspired science fiction story written by Tom Jubert. It's scenes are described by the moody music composed by Mikko Tarmia, Paul Houseman, Michael Law and Ari Pulkkinen. Lavish illustrations, created by Tuija Fagerlund, will accompany the music and story. AIKA will be available from early November. Paradox Interactive today announced the release of the highly anticipated expansion Penumbra: Requiem developed by Frictional Games. The expansion requires Penumbra: Black Plague and is available exclusively via download on GamersGate and Direct2Drive.

In addition to Requiem, Penumbra: Black Plague Gold Edition is also available on GamersGate. It includes both Penumbra Black Plague and Penumbra Requiem.

I have finished the job for Making of -documentary for Käsky (Tears of April), a finnish movie directed by Aku Louhimies. The documentary's premiere date will be announced later.

Paradox Interactive announces an expansion to critically acclaimed horror series Penumbra. Penumbra: Requiem will be a download only expansion and available exclusively via GamersGate.

Penumbra: Black Plague has been released worldwide! You can buy the game from online stores and retailers, or as a digital download at GamersGate. Mac and Linux versions will be out later this year. There has been a demo out for a while and you can download it from here.

Release date for Penumbra: Black Plague has been set. Paradox Interactive confirmed that the game will be shipping to stores, starting on February 12 in North America. Reachin Technologies and Paradox Interactive announced an agreement to embed HaptX in Penumbra: Black Plague.

Mac version of Penumbra: Overture - Episode One has finally been released! You can buy the game from here as a digital download.

Piste Gamez has released their new game 'Elf Destruction'. It's a free game which you can download from here!
HaptX edition of Penumbra: Overture has also been finally released. If you own Novint's Falcon controller, you can use it to get the most out of the game's advanced physics engine.

Paradox Interactive announced today that the company has secured the publishing rights to Penumbra: Black Plague, which will be the second and also the final chapter for the Penumbra story, developed by Frictional Games. The game will be out worldwide Q1 2008.
Reachin Technologies will soon publish a special version of Penumbra Overture: Episode One with HaptX haptics engine, which makes it possible to control the game with special controllers such as Novint Falcon.

A new project! I'm doing music for Piste Gamez's Pekka the Rooster 3. The game is a sequel for popular 2D platformer, where you play as a rooster and try to save your chicken friends from an evil crow. If you liked old Super Mario games, you will surely like this one too!

Penumbra: Overture won SDSI's (Swedish computer games institute) "Independent game of the year 2007" award. A little bit more about it in here.

Got Game Entertainment brought the game into retail stores in North America last week.

Kalypso Media is publishing german version of Penumbra: Overture. There's a dedicated website for "Penumbra: Im Halbschatten" at www.penumbra-game.de. A company called Strategy First will be Penumbra: Overture's second digital distributor.

Penumbra: Overture will be published and distributed worldwide by Lexicon Entertainment and Got Game Entertainment (US distribution). Digital distribution will be handled by GamersGate. The first episode will be available Q1 this year. If you didn't know yet, Penumbra: Overture is one of the scariest horror games ever. The company behind this title is swedish Frictional Games (hooray neighbours!). The game will be released in three episodes during the years 2007-2008.
